I've been living in Brooklyn for over 30 years. I started this blog for several reasons. First and foremost, I simply love to eat! I'm always in search of something new, tasty, and interesting to try.
I have also grown tired of overly long food reviews that spend way too much time discussing decor, ambiance, service and wallpaper. Yes, those things have some importance but my primary concern is WHAT SHOULD I EAT HERE? I feel that not enough is ever said about the food itself. I also firmly believe that a restaurant cannot always be judged on the basis of a single dish or a single negative experience. Sometimes a place has just 1 amazing dish that's worth coming back for. Other times a place simply just sucks!

All of the photographs posted on this blog were shot by me using my Canon 60D. Most of the shots were taken using a Canon 60mm Macro lens while others were shot using a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens or a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens. All photographs are taken inside a restaurant setting using natural light and without any kind of prep from the restaurant itself. I believe that each restaurant’s food should have a chance to be presented to the reader in the best way possible which is why I always strive to take photos of the highest quality and to the best of my abilities.
